Hemp Seed Energy Nuggets

1/2           cup  sunflower seeds -- raw (or other nut or seed of your choice)
1/2           cup  hemp seeds -- raw
1/3           cup  honey or agave -- may need 2 T. more
1/2           cup  almond butter, peanut butter or cashew nut butter
1/2           cup  carob powder -- unsweetened
     1/4           cup  oat bran
     1/4           cup  unsweetened coconut meat
1/2           cap  almond extract -- optional
       2            dashes  cinnamon -- optional

Insert the metal blade into the bottom of your food processor and add the
ingredients one at a time and blend until the mixture forms a ball.  Pinch
off small amounts and form into bite-sized balls.  For a special effect,
roll balls in extra hemp seeds or coconut.  Place in an airtight
container and refrigerate.  Can also be frozen.

NOTES : The best method of blending is a food processor, but if you don't own
one, combine honey, almond butter, and carob in a large bowl and stir until the
mixture is well blended.  Then add remaining ingredients and roll into balls.
